Chirping, whining, calling, pinning, Splashing, crunching, A million other sounds. She has trouble keeping him going. He stops to look. He stops to hear. She pulls him along. She pulls him quick.
Stanvert (5)
He’s never seen so many things, so many different things, all was gray and black and white, now colors. Oh the colors. and the sounds. No grinding, or humming, or whining of motors, A million other sounds.
Stanvert (4)
She grabs his hand, like before but not, They leave the pool, with the falls behind them. The jungle is more than he can imagine. Colors. Sounds. His fear drowned by amazement.
Stanvert (3)
It starts with her. She is no little girl. She is a woman. Unlike any woman he’s ever seen. “Are you…” “Are you her?” he asks. “Yes, and no.” she says. “We have to keep going.” she says.

He washes ashore She’s there, at the bottom of the falls. She helps him up, out of the water dripping and wet. He breaths deeply. A million new smells. A million new sights.
