Never doubting, Always believing, They are right, But we both know, They aren’t, Ever truly, Right. But they are ours.

Just going, Just progressing, Just doing, Never thinking, Always acting, Onward and upward, Nudge them onward, Always onward,

Make them see, Make them dance, To your tune, Keep them turning, Always turning, Never stopping, Never asking, Never wondering,

Always speaking, Always present, Always alert, Always affecting, Never resting, Never allowing rest, Just touch them here, And correct them there.

Be scarce, Be small, Be little, Be quiet, Not loud, Not angry, Just right, Always right.

A touch, A dash, A tick, A mark, Not too dark, Not too deep, Just there, Barely there.

But its gone on too long, the same tired old song, maybe it came on too strong, either way it’s over, before it goes all wrong.

Into what I’m not sure, Out to the store? Or onto the floor? As long as it’s good, And not much of a bore,
