Tea Party to kill Republican Party?

Seriously, massively biased liberal media? That’s the line you’re taking? That because a single section of the Republican Party is driving the current results on Republican Senate and Gubernatorial candidates that suddenly the Republicans have no shot to win anything in the coming elections. That seems to be everything I’m seeing. Every time a Republican candidate backed by the Tea Party wins a race the media goes on about how much harder it’s going to be for the Republicans to win and about how happy the Democrats are that the Republican candidate is a “tea bagger”. Did no one stop to think why the Republican candidate who won was a Tea Party backed candidate? Maybe because the people right now really care about the issues that the Tea Party cares about? Maybe? Seriously media, that’s all you freakin’ got?

I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised anymore about how the media enjoys twisting things. And I really do mean How. As in the way that they like to twist things. Not so much that they do twist things. In fact, they don’t twist it very often. Most of the twisting comes in what they decide to tell us about and what they decide to leave on the wayside. Like gay rape for instance, nobody ever reports that, but it happens, and not just the pedophilia stuff either. But for some reason it’s not as important as straight rape. But sometimes, and usually only in political situation, the media decides to really start in on the twisting, or as they call it interpreting the polls.

This year’s brand has been, at least to me, freaking hilarious. It’s like they’re utterly blind to the fact that American citizens are really concerned about the same things the Tea Party is concerned about: the economy and government control. Although to be fair people are more concerned about the economy than they are about the government control, but still plenty of people are concerned about that. Either way though, the Republicans are going to vote for the Republican candidate, whether they’re Tea Party backed or not. Add on top of that, the the portion of the Republican party that seems to care about “the people” and is being attacked by arm-chair ivy league liberal jerks who “the people” aren’t similar too and don’t like, is the group backing these candidates and I think you have more of a winning combination than the media would like you to believe.

So don’t worry kiddos, I have a feeling that some Change is coming down the pipeline, even if the Tea Party is involved.
