To Whom it May Concern,
As you may know we have experienced some trouble at our archeological site in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We still intend to pursue our original purpose there, to discover and catalogue as much as we can about the original Indian inhabitants. However, with all that has happened I cannot feel perfectly at ease with simply sending another group of professors and students. I think there may be some group or organization working as crossends to ours and I fear they may be using deadly tactics upon our faculty. As this is, what I would describe as, an Indian Affair I am asking that you could look into the matter of what occurred during the previous year at the dig site.
