As you may have noticed I’ve got a new webcomic up on the site here called House of Variable. You also may notice, if you look hard, that the Me and My Friends comic has disappeared. House of Variable is a comic I developed for the escaptist magazine’s webcomic contest. Suffice to say that I didn’t win the contest, or even get an honorable mention, otherwise you’d be reading something up here to the effect that I won a contest to do a webcomic on another site :). Oh well right? However, in the development of the comic I came to like the idea of House of Variable a lot more than my current comic Me and My Friends. Partly because I think House of Variable will be more comical faster, and partly because I think the material will come easier to me. Both comics are loosely based around my life but House of Variable is more fresh in my mind compared to Me and My Friends. Who knows, someday I may go back and write Me and My Friends as a kind of prelude to HoV, but we’ll see.
For now though I’ll be doing House of Variable for the forseeable future. Here’s hoping that you like it.
