Dream Sequence Update

Bad News Sports Fans.

The plan for Dream Sequence 1 was to shoot the film over AggieCon weekend, which was March 24-27th. However Friday night of the convention I came down ill, which pushed back construction of the steady cams, which pushed back the filming time into the Saturday Night parties, which I decided to not shoot through. So I have no footage yet, with which to make a music video.

We were able to construct the steady cams though, and they are awesome and I am very excited about using them for high movement shots once me and my camera people get good enough to use them. We’ve used them for a couple of short videos, designed to teach Jonathan about car maintenance.

My current plan for the shoot, now that I have both my equipment and my storyboard, is to see if I can find some actors in Baton Rouge who would be willing to star in the music video in exchange for a dinner and a lunch. Current progress on that has been slow. I have tried to contact the LSU film studies department, but have not received word back yet. I have also done some research through the Baton Rouge Film Commission and I don’t expect to be able to use them since they are a more profession scene and I’m not looking to pay anyone anything. We’ll see though.
