WMG, or Warner Music Group, decided to block my AMV worldwide for the song I used, Hotel California. It appears that no one gives a damn about Billy Joel’s music or Bon Jovi, but they care about The Eagles, or at least Hotel California. Or maybe it’s just WMG. WMG is currently scouring YouTube and blocking all the audio that they have a copyright on. There is now a large group of people trying to drum up support for YouTube to allow people to use WMG music for their videos, since WMG is the third largest holder of copyrights on music.
